Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Gas Grill Reviews

The Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Gas Grill is an updated version of the popular Char Broil Patio Caddies.

When I was looking for a nice sized replacement grill that doesn't take up a lot of room on my patio, but can still cook about 10 hamburgers at a time I knew that I had to investigate the Patio Bistro.

The new Patio Bistro Infrared Grills are designed to be compact and quality grills that are easy to light and cooks food quickly and easily.

The electronic ignition makes lighting the grill a breeze, simply turn the gas control knob to the ignition setting and the grill automatically lights itself. No more messing around with matches or grill lighters that get lost or run out of fuel.

The Char Broil Patio Bistro grill heats up very quickly, within about 10 minutes of lighting the grill it can easily reach temperatures of 400 to 700 degrees depending on the heat setting - more than enough to sear everything from burgers to steaks to pork.

Most burgers are fully cooked within about 5 minutes using the # 3 or # 4 heat setting - by cooking so quickly and searing the burgers at a high initial heat, the hamburgers are perfectly juicy and are some of the best burgers I have ever tasted.

Although the cooking area is a bit on the small side compared to some of the monstrous grills I see at some of the big box stores, it is more than enough room to cook anywhere from 8-12 hamburgers at a time.

Last week I cooked a full rack of ribs and a couple of roasting earns of corn with room to spare.

Since the Patio Bistro Grill cooks food so quickly, I can feed my entire neighborhood in about the time it took my old grill to even come up to proper cooking temperature.

Cleaning up the Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Gas Grillis also ridiculously easy - simply set the heat control knob on max for about 10 minutes, turn it off and wait for it to cool down and then give the cooking grate a quick scrub with your favorite grill brush.

Pros:
** Easy to Light
** Reaches cooking temperature extremely quickly
** Simple cleanup
** Quick cooking speed helps improve flavor
** Small size and light weight makes it easy to move
** Low Price

Cons:
** Slightly on the small side for large families
** Difficult to see flames to tell if burner is lit

Overall I would definitely recommend the Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Gas Grillfor small families that like to barbeque but don't have the space for a huge mega-grill on their deck or patio. The price is extremely attractive and the ease of use factor makes it a no-brainer for someone who doesn't have a lot of grilling experience.
